The Honeywell Y87RF2024 Single Zone thermostat pack contains:
- The Honeywell Y87RF wireless single zone thermostat.
- 2 AA batteries
- A BDR91 wireless relay box (Pre synched to the Single zone thermostat)
This pack comes complete with everything needed to start the conversion of your existing heating system. The Wireless relay allows the Y87rf to be used from anywhere within range. The easy-to-use, uniquely shaped thermostat is pre synched to the BDR91 so that installation time is cut down. All you need to do is wire the BDR91 in to your current system and you can start using your new thermostat straight away. The BDR91 can also be wired directly to motorised zone valves or actuators.
The thermostat is easy to use, just turn the outer ring and the temperature display will raise or drop in 5 Degree increments. It also has an inbuilt allowable range to stop the temperature of a room will not go above or below a set point. The display screen of this thermostat has an RF signal bar, which allows you to see when you are going out of range, and a low battery indicator to alert you when the thermostat is running out of battery power.
The Y87RF can be connected to a RFG100 Gateway. With the addition of the gateway, you can control your heating from the total connect comfort app (available for Apple and Android devices). Using this app, you will also have access to a seven day, single zone heating schedule direct from your mobile device as well as having the option to manually activate and shut down heating on the go from anywhere with internet access.
The Y87RF can also be combined with an Evohome system and used in place of the DT92 wall sensor. As the Y87RF2024 comes with a wireless relay box, there is no need to buy an additional relay box if you want to move from the single zone thermostat to a full Evohome set up.
