Heatline Condensate Trap
The condensate trap captures the discharge which builds up in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the alterations in the pressure and temperature within those systems. A discharge pipe linked to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water within a condensate trap may be mildy acidic due to carbon dioxide formed from boiler use dissolving in the water. Discharge pipes are very rarely made of anything other than plastic as this water could damage a metal pipe over time.
