Delivery Information

At Direct Heating Spares, we are able to offer a selection of delivery methods. Terms and conditions for each option may apply.

All delivery charges are shown and applied at the checkout and are for your whole order – we do not charge delivery per item.

Please contact us if you have specific requirements that are not explained below.


Despatching

* Providing your product(s) are in stock and your order is placed before 7pm Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays), then it is our aim to ensure your order is despatched to you that same day. For orders placed over the weekend, this cut-off time is 12pm Sunday.

Orders placed outside of our normal operating times will be despatched on the next working day.

Though we keep an extensive range and level of stock, sometimes deliveries (especially express) are subject to stock availability. To prevent disappointment, we recommend you phone to check stock availability before ordering if you urgently need an item.

If any products are out of stock, we can split your order and send what we have immediately with the rest to follow, but this is not an automatic process, so please contact us to request this.


UK delivery options

We utilise an array of couriers to deliver goods, including UPS, DHL, and Yodel. The exact provider is calculated based on a few factors and is subject to change.

Non-timed deliveries should arrive between 8am and 6pm.

All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, they will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery, or for you to collect the goods from your local depot.

We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified, however exact times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, we recommend you do not arrange to fit any products until you have received them physically in your possession. We cannot be held responsible for any losses or issues caused by such delays that are outside of our control.

We will make every effort to inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Deliveries to certain remote locations (e.g. Isle of Wight and the Scottish Highlands) may have slightly longer delivery times than those advertised.

Available delivery options and prices can be seen by adding your product(s) to your Shopping Basket. The most common services we offer are listed below for your information.

UPS Collection Point

Collect from a local shop that is in partnership with UPS. Orders placed before the advertised cut-off times will be despatched and delivered next working day to your chosen collection point (UPS Access Point). You will receive an email to advise the order has been accepted by UPS and another when your order is ready to collect. Please note that you will need to provide a government-issued ID (e.g. driving licence or passport) when collecting your order. You will be asked to sign for your parcel upon collection. If the order has not been collected by you within 10 days it will be returned to us, upon which point we will refund you.

Standard Delivery

Orders placed before the advertised cut-off times should be delivered within 1-2 working days following despatch, but may be longer, depending on your local area and other external factors, as this is not a guaranteed/timed service.

Next Day Delivery

Orders placed before the advertised cut-off times will be delivered the next working day following despatch.

Pre-Noon Delivery

Orders placed before the advertised cut-off times will be delivered before 12pm the next working day following despatch.


International delivery options

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to international destinations outside of the UK at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


Receiving your order

Upon receiving your order, please check all boxes and packaging for any signs of visible damage or tampering. Should there be any signs, please note this upon signing for the goods, and inform us too.

Please also inspect your products. If they are found to be damaged, broken or faulty, please inform us.

Any damage or deficiency must be notified to us within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.

You can contact us in various ways. We will then make every effort to resolve the situation in a timely and efficient manner.


Free delivery promotions

We occasionally offer free delivery promotions, which we run at our sole discretion.

"Free delivery" consists of standard UK delivery services only. This doesn't include next day or timed delivery options, which are considered upgrades and are therefore always chargeable at their prevailing prices.

If there is a limit to qualify for free delivery, this will be on the Sub Total of your basket (the sum of the products only, less any discounts) – meaning any delivery charge under the limit will not also count towards the qualification.
