Baxi Pilot Burners (Page 3)
The pilot burner is a naked flame within the unit that is needed to ignite the gas that is coming in to the main burner. When the appliance is turned on the gas valve allows gas in to the burner which is then ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot flame operates in conjunction with the printed circuit board and the rest of the pilot assembly to ensure that the gas is ignited safely and efficiently.
