Robinson Willey Fire Heat Exchangers
There are 2 different types of heat exchanger that can be present, they are the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. The primary is present in almost all boilers and it allows the transfer of heat from the burner to the water within the system. The secondary heat exchanger occurs infrequently in fires and allows the heat to be transferred between two closed systems. Fires usually have a back burner or have the heat exchanger built in to the flue system.
