ANDREWS TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE VALVE 1 1/2"-CSC.

The pressure relief valve, sometimes called PRV, relief valve or safety valve, is used to control the pressure in a system. It is set to open if the pressure within the system rises past a certain point to prevent the system from getting damaged . Each PRV has a set "bar", once this bar is reached the prv opens to allow water to escape which in turn decreases the pressure within the system .
