ARISTON 571730 SAFETY VALVE.

The pressure relief valve, sometimes called PRV, relief valve or safety valve, is used to control the pressure in a system. It is set to open if the system pressure goes above a certain point to stop any severe damage to the system . Each PRV has a set "bar", once this bar is reached the pressure relief valve opens and the build up of water is discharged which reduces the amount of pressure within the system .
