Product Information: The microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform specific actions dependent on specific stimuli. The microswitch in a hydraulic diverter valve, for example, is turned on when a tap that is connected to the system is is switched on. The microswitch then sends a message to the electronic control board, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are different models of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
