Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode makes the spark that begins combustion within the burner The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking if there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task and if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to re-attempt ignition.

This part is present in 4 different boilers on our system including the ECOFLAM MAIOR P10 AB OIL BOILER, ECOFLAM MAIOR P10 OIL BOILER, ECOFLAM MINOR 12 MINOR 12 and the ECOFLAM MINOR 12 AB OIL BURNER.
