Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode is responsible for causing the spark that starts off combustion. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important safety device that makes sure the boiler isn't still supplying gas without a flame.

This part is present in 7 different boilers in the Halstead range including the Halstead BEST 80 , BEST 60 , BEST 70 , BEST 30 , BEST 40 .
