The Honeywell V1810Y0040 value is used as a throttle valve for creating an hydronic balance in warm potable water systems. Hydronic balance is achieved by pre-setting the valve on the circulation pipe manually.

The valve can be paired with a thermal actuator which allows for the regulation of water temperature in circulation systems to the pre-set temperature.
