Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode makes the spark that starts off combustion within the appliance The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for monitoring whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important safety device that makes sure the boiler isn't still supplying gas without a flame.
This part is present in 5 different boilers on our system including the MYSON ORION 30 SI and the MYSON ORION 40 SI , MYSON ORION 50 SI , MYSON ORION 60 SI , MYSON ORION 75 SI .
