Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode is responsible for making the spark that begins combustion within the burner The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task that ensures the boiler doesn't keep supplying gas while no flame is present.

This part is present in 17 different boilers in the Potterton range including the Potterton SUPRIMA 30 HE , SUPRIMA 30 L , SUPRIMA 40 HE , SUPRIMA 40 L , SUPRIMA 50 HE .
