This part is located within the condensate trap section. The condensate trap is used to contain the discharge which is created from the heating/cooling process. This is caused by the changing pressures and temperatures in the system. A discharge pipe is used to remove water within the condensate trap out of property. The water inside a condensate trap may be slightly acidic due to the carbon dioxide released in the combustion process being dissolved in the water.
