This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the ignition electrodes and the flame sensing electrodes. The ignition electrode is also known as a spark electrode and causes a spark that starts off combustion. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for ensuring there is a flame in the burner, and ensures the burner is operating correctly .
