This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the flame sensing electrodes and the ignition electrodes. The ignition electrode is used to make a spark that starts off the combustion process. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking the flame in the burner, and stops fuel from being added if there is no flame .
