The Air Pressure Switch, also known as the APS is a safety mechanism used to ensure the fan is in full working order. The fan prevents a build-up of noxious gasses within the appliance, removing them safely. The air pressure switch is tracked by the princted circuit board (PCB), ensuring that it is fully operational; if the air pressure switch is not working correctly the PCB will stop the appliance firing up .
