Rocol 30042 Steamseal 400G.
The Rocol 30042 STEAMSEAL is a pipe sealant mainly used for pipes, flanges and face joints. The compound is made from graphite and manganese allowing for efficient sealing for ferrous pipework which carry air, steam or water. It is hard-setting with enough flexibility to resist vibration, thermal expansion and contraction of pipework.
The STEAMSEAL, whilst hard-setting is still easy to break and clean, allowing for maintenance work or replacement of pipework possible without the hassle of replacing the entire section of pipework. In addition to this STEAMSEAL is compatible with most foam forming leak testers.
- Temperature range: -20°C to 600°C
- Pressure range: up to 193 bar (2800 psi)
