Product Information: The flow switch acts as a safety device. It is a switch with an in-built sensor that sits in the pipework for both the domestic hot water and central heating systems. When the pump is powered up, the flow switches senses this movement and feeds the information back to the printed circuit board, allowing the ignition sequence to progress. The flow switches function is to make sure that the burner cannot switch on if the system is low on water or dry.

This part is present in 8 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant ECOmax VU 186 E , ECOmax VU 226 E , ECOmax VUW 286 E , ECOmax VUW 236 E , VU 186 E .
