Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode is responsible for creating the spark that begins combustion. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for ensuring there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task that ensures the boiler doesn't keep supplying gas while no flame is present.

This part is present in 15 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant TURBOmax VUW 282/1E , TURBOmax VUW 242/1E , TURBOmax VUW 282 E , TURBOmax VUW 242 E , VU 142/1 .
