Product Information: A thermocouple is a mechanism that is made of two different metals that produce a slight charge when heated on one side. This charge activates an electromagnet which opens a valve and allows the gas or water to flow through.

This part is present in 11 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant VCW 240 XT , VCW 240 T , VC 240 XT , VC 240 T , VCW 280 XT .
