Product Information: The thermistor decreases the circuit resistance as the temperature increases. The printed circuit board sends a current to the thermistor and can tell whether more or less heat is needed by the resistance provided by the thermistor.
This part is present in 4 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant ECOmax 828 , ECOmax 824 , VUW 246 E-C , VUW 286 E-C .
