The pilot burner works with the PCB and pilot assembly to ensure that the gas is ignited safely and efficiently. When the appliance is activated the gas valve releases the gas into the burner and the pilot burner, a naked flame within the appliance is used to begin the combustion of the gas which is coming into the main burner .
