This part is located within the condensate trap section. The condensate trap is used to remove the discharge from the heating/cooling process. This is caused by the changing pressures and temperatures in the system. A discharge pipe is used to remove water within the condensate trap out of property. The water within a condensate trap may be mildly acidic due to the carbon dioxide from the combustion process being dissolved in the water.
