Product Information: The microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform certain actions dependent on specific stimuli. The microswitch in the fire suppression system, for example, is turned on when a problem is detected with the system. The microswitch then sends a notification to the electronic control, letting it know to switch off the fan that delivers fresh air to the fire and keep the exhaust fan working to ensure all smoke and gasses are vented correctly.. There are different types of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
